Our Story
Rams Horn Village Resort is an award-winning mountain cabin resort located at the entrance to spectacular Rocky Mountain National Park, just a mile from the friendly mountain town of Estes Park. Rams Horn Village has been providing great family vacations in the heart of the Colorado Rockies since 1990. In 2020 we earned the accolade of Trip Advisor’s Travelers Choice and Excellence in Service Awards. We’re proud to be Estes Park’s only Resort Condominiums International (RCI) 29-Year Gold Crown Resort.
The resort was first conceived in 1989 by long-term Estes Park residents, Alex and Deborah Gibson, as the ideal place to fulfill the dream of the perfect Rocky Mountain vacation experience for owners and guests alike. The dream has been fulfilled in large part by the ongoing dedication of the Gibsons, our owner families, and the long-term and caring staff of Rams Horn Village Resort. All are dedicated to making every vacation here as perfect an experience as possible. We believe family vacations are too important to expect anything less.
Rams Horn Village Resort is a fractional ownership resort, managed by its owners, for its owners. It is unlike any fractional ownership resort you have experienced. It is, quite simply, intelligent vacation home ownership with a great deal of heart. It provides our owners with an affordable, beautiful, and comfortable vacation cabin to be enjoyed and shared for generations.
The resort also offers nightly and weekly vacation rentals in luxury two and three-bedroom mountain vacation cabins that are beautifully furnished and fully equipped with our guests’ every comfort in mind. The resort includes 46 beautifully appointed luxury cabins, a heated outdoor swimming pool in the summer, three outdoor year-round hot tubs, a fitness center, and a playground on over seven acres of landscaped grounds. The Resort also offers the fastest free Wi-Fi in Estes Park!
Rams Horn Village Resort is perfectly situated to offer the very best access to the scenic wonders of Rocky Mountain National Park as well as the fine shopping, galleries, and restaurants of Estes Park. As the major destination town at Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park is Colorado’s most visited vacation destination, hosting over four million vacationers each year. Many are repeat visitors — some families visit annually, often for generations.
Designated as wilderness in 2009, Rocky Mountain National Park will now remain unchanged for all time. The trails we hike today are the same our grandparents’ parents hiked 100 years ago and will be the same experience for our grandchildren’s children. Very few places on Earth can offer the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of both our past and future, as does Rocky Mountain National Park.
